This creamy dreamy angel hair and shrimp pasta bake includes fresh parsley, pico de gallo, heavy cream, and three different kinds of cheese. It’s herby and fresh and savory all at the same time.

Pair this pasta bake with crusty bread, chilled white wine, and spectacular friends and you have yourself an impressive dinner party.

Your first step is to boil the angel hair pasta until al dente.

While the pasta is boiling combine the herbs, pico, and only one of the cheeses.

Time to layer!

In a 13×9 baking dish layer half the al dente pasta, half of the pico herb mix, half of the shrimp, and repeat.

Time to whisk something!

Whisk the egg and heavy cream together and pour evenly over the top of your yummy casserole.

Time to bake!

Bake the casserole. Add the other 2 kinds of cheese and bake a bit longer.

Time to serve!

Creamy Angel Hair and Shrimp Pasta Bake

Ingredients

  • 12 oz angel hair pasta
  • 3/4 cup fresh parsley minced
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 cups pico de gallo
  • 3/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 lbs uncooked medium shrimp de-shelled and deveined
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup colby and monterey jack mix shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Cook your pasta according to package instructions until al dente.

  2. Combine the parsley, basil, oregano, pico de gallo, and feta cheese. Set aside.

  3. Drain the pasta. In a greased 13x9 inch baking dish layer half the pasta, half the pico herb mix, and half the shrimp. Repeat.

  4. Whisk the eggs and heavy cream together and pour evenly over the pasta.

  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Sprinkle the shredded colby monterey jack cheese on top and bake for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is just melted. Serve and enjoy.
